Commitment To Goals in 2016

Another Year is upon us! A time for a fresh start, new goals, letting go of the past, concentrating on the positive and becoming the person you were meant to be. The only problem with that is how do you begin? Where do you start? It can feel overwhelming to think of all the changes you want to incorporate in 2016.

It starts with your mind. I know you are thinking I'm crazy because you have wanted all these changes in your mind for years and they haven't magically happened yet. Why would it be any different this year? I will tell you that for years I have wanted many things for my life, but deep down inside I never fully believed I could accomplish them. Once I took some time to really decipher what I wanted in my life I took the time to write them out on paper. Once I listed them I circled one or two that were the most important for me at this time in my life. After doing that I wrote down the steps I would need to do to accomplish that goal. Every day I would take a step, even if it was tiny, toward acheiving that goal. I concentrated on the positive steps I was making toward my goals and did not beat myself up because I wasn't further ahead in the process. Along the way I made it a point to find

support to help me when I thought the change was too challenging.

Change takes time, it takes commitment, it takes courage and it takes help. Once you have made the commitment in your mind the goal is 50% done. Contact me for the other 50% and let 2016 be the year you transform into the person you picture in your mind.
